This exquisite all-natural silk scarf was made through the collaboration of three artisan groups - cocoon rearers, yarn-makers and weavers. Created out of tassar “ahimsa” silk, which doesn’t harm the silk moth during the collection of the cocoon. Each step of the scarf's evolution supports an artisan livelihood, from the rearing of the dried cocoon to the weaving of the yarn. The purchase of just one scarf provides a livelihood for ten artisans.
